As a saeta plays, we see a crown of white flowers. Someone appears carrying a coffin, and we hear the voice of a spirit. Nothing is as it seems in this comic tragedy. The play reflects on the role of the actor, the deep meaning of their craft, the essence of theatre, and how theatre intertwines with life itself.
