For their touching and beautiful story, they have told us in an entertaining and fun way. We appreciate their surprise effects and the variety of puppetry techniques, along with their good use of music, their energetic performance and how they transported us into their world through the scenery.

The Children’s Jury of the 33rd Lleida Puppet Fair awards the prize to the show Un océan d’amour by the company Cie. La Salamandre.

At the 33rd Puppet Fair of Lleida, the Jury of the Fair formed by the following programmers:

They have reached the following verdict:
Because of the multiplicity of stage languages, dramatic developments, resources and interpretive supports, whether in person, with objects or with puppets and that in each of these areas the right point is reached to captivate the audience.
For the aesthetic beauty and the amalgam of spaces recreated in the same venue, conceptually and visually different, but which maintain a magical and captivating environment and climate throughout the show.
For the clearly ecological discourse and human values, which make the proposal a first-rate pedagogical tool for children and young people.
The Street Jury has decided to award the DRAC D’OR TO THE BEST STREET SHOW to the AN-KI show by Cia. ORTIGA.

To give, between all the shows of high quality that we could enjoy at the Fair, the awar to the best show to Cia. Ortiga for its show An-ki.
The jury rewards the work for the good use of the scenic space created, highlighting the good scenographic setting that allows the viewer not to lose the thread of the story during the travels through the different scenes of the performance.
At the same time, the combination of artistic and performing techniques and the relationship and integration of the spectator within them should be emphasized.

First Prize: An-Ki
The show is a beautifully created, immersive experience, a magical theatrical show. The audience moved with the performers through the space to share different moments and experiences together. The work is particularly relevant in the story it wants to tell, about the world, the environment and how we can exist within it.
Washing Machine - experimental, risk taking and future looking, refreshing the art form, a new way to work with objects, visual experiences and space.
Poi - the skill of the performer, playful and funny, original, bringing circus to the programme, working on the street and holding the audience throughout the performance.
Un Ocean D'Amour - extraordinary performers, casting back to the 40's and 50's, skill and care of the work, a beautiful story, the humour within it eg seagulls, precise and fully connecting with the audience.
