We can imagine a large machine with its components, axles, belts, levers and various gears. A strange gadget with a fantastic appearance and whose usefulness we do not know. However, we can perceive two things; that the machine seems to work at the rhythm of a heartbeat. And that it feeds on books... Moreover, next to this mechanism, we see Greta, an endearing old woman, who entertains herself by tinkering in her small library of books and stories. Due to her delicate health, Greta needs the care of the young Pina, her assistant. When, every day, Pina listens to Greta's heart, the great machine activates and begins to work in rhythm with her beats. This curious link between the mechanism and Greta's fragile heart makes us suspect that mechanical ingenuity is a magical expression of what happens inside her. And what happens with old Greta is that she is always on the verge of overflowing... Like a little girl, she is unpredictable, extravagant, capricious, fanciful, vulnerable...
